LATAM Compensation and Benefits Manager

Reporting to the LATAM HR Director, this position is responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, and management of compensation and benefits programs across the region. The professional will play a key role in defining competitive and sustainable policies aligned with the company’s global practices, ensuring the attraction, retention, and motivation of top talent.

The LATAM Compensation and Benefits Manager will work closely with HR leaders and managers across different countries, ensuring consistency of practices while respecting local specificities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, evaluate, and optimize the company’s salary structures (including job description, bonus schemes, benefits programs, etc.) to enhance employee satisfaction and motivation.

  • Provide and manage resources to understand compensation trends and benefits policies, ensuring the company’s packages remain competitive.

  • Lead negotiations with suppliers, tracking cost, usage, and service quality indicators.

  • Lead HR projects related to benefits, wellness programs, and employee engagement initiatives, working in partnership with Culture & Engagement team, HRBPs and Payroll.

  • Be supportive to employees, answering questions related to compensation and benefits.

  • Support annual compensation review processes, providing benchmarking data and guidelines.

  • Ensure compliance with labor legislation and internal policies regarding compensation and benefits.

  • Prepare reports and analyses for senior management decision-making.

  • Manage APData relationship, ensuring the accurate and timely administration of payroll, ensuring data integrity and compliance with all applicable regulations.

  • Monitor and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations related to wages, benefits, and payroll.

  • Ensure and maintain control of PCMSO – medical control and occupational health program, as well as control of mandatory technical reports required by legislation.

 

 Key Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics or related fields.

  • Solid experience in Compensation and Benefits, preferably in multinational companies.

  • Knowledge of job evaluation methodologies and salary structures.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

  • Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of HRIS systems is a plus.

  • Fluency in English; Spanish is considered an advantage.
